Four stages of the title character from Puss in Boots. He starts as a kind of consolation prize, begging for his life. Next step is establishing the position of his master by petending to be sombody else (imaginary person, really). After that he has to secure him a property - by murdering the true owner. At last, he celebrates his achievements.
This image consists of four illustrations by French artist Henry Thiriet (1873-1946) which are in Public Domain. I arranged them in order of the scenes from Puss' life and added his actions. I hope his climbing up the social ladder looks clear enough (although not as best example to our children). Well, life is not fair ...

For this project I had to find illustrations, crop them in FastStone, arrange them in InkScape, where I also added text, used basic functions like align, resize and export in bitmap format. At the end I used FastStone again to get the desired format of 640 width to make it useful for desktop computers and mobile gadgets.
